It has been an incredible adventure since we began welcoming babies in late 2025. We are so grateful for the amazing clients and families who have trusted us to be part of their beautiful journeys.

Documentary Screening

NCBC is excited to host a free documentary screening of No One Told Me on March 21st, 2026 at 4:00pm in our Gather104 classroom. There will also be a virtual Q&A with the filmmaker immediately following the screening!

About the documentary

No One Told Me provides a raw and honest look at the postpartum period, a unique time in a woman's life that is rarely captured in documentary film. The purely observational footage of incredibly intimate moments shows the highs and lows encountered by parents Elise and Marc as they adapt to life with a baby. Focusing on the new mother, the film shares the physical, hormonal and psychological changes she faces during the first 10 weeks of motherhood.

Additionally, we offer Out-of-Network coverage to many insurance providers, making our care accessible to many.

As we continue working to establish in-network contracts with major insurance providers, we remain committed to finding ways to make the cost of care more accessible. Elon Nursing School

Last fall, we had the pleasure of welcoming students from Elon University’s Nursing School to NCBC for a special clinic day. During their visit, students toured our space, asked thoughtful questions, and learned about the Midwifery Model of Care.

Our midwives also led an engaging lecture highlighting the importance of client-centered, collaborative care. They shared evidence-based perspectives on physiological birth, discussed the role of midwifery in modern maternity care, and helped dispel common myths surrounding midwifery practice. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with future nurses and foster a deeper understanding of compassionate, evidence-based care.
