Essential Functions:
Plans, implements, supervises, and coordinates the conduct of practice operations
Performs or delegates duties of receptionist in absence of receptionist
Sets work schedules include vacations and special needs as requested
Sets work tasks for employees
Recognizes and corrects deficiencies associated with clinic flow
Manages and coordinates the provision of client care in the clinic to assure high satisfaction and efficient service to all clients
Continuously evaluates all processes and systems in accordance with company policies and procedures
Promotes the birth center by interacting with clients, midwives, referring provider offices, payers, and vendors by providing information on services and programs in a positive and professional manner to maintain and improve the success of the birth center
Facilitate orientation and training for all new employees
Maintenance of employee personnel files and clinical credentialing files
In conjunction with the Director of Midwifery and Administrator, facilitates orientation and training for all employees. Organizes and provides an ongoing program to assure staff competency, including drills, in-service programs, and staff attendance at outside continuing education programs.
In conjunction with the Director of Midwifery and Administrator, organizes and participates in regular staff meetings
Conducts staff performance reviews and provides recommendations for promotions/demotions, disciplinary actions and pay rate changes
Serve as liaison with the business office, clinical staff and the providers to accomplish practice goals
Purchase equipment, track office supplies, and reorder when necessary
Assist in documentation and monitoring of internal controls, policies and procedural changes as directed. Update the internal documentation system with office procedures, new employee profiles
Coordinate meetings as directed (including ordering meals and reserving meeting space)
Onboard support for new employees and Offboard support for departing employees
Implement rewards and recognition program (i.e. posting announcements and ordering gifts/rewards for birthdays, anniversaries, significant employee life events)
Track and monitor: Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable / online banking / deposits / reconciliation
Assure timely and accurate input and processing of payroll and related deductions and expense payroll processing
Qualifications:
1-3 years management experience
A degree is preferred
Proficient in computer programs such as excel, word, outlook and EMR. Must be familiar with medical terminology
Experience in staff supervision and positive motivation is a must

Reporting Relationships:
Responsible to the administrator for Administrative functions and the Director of Midwifery for clinical functions
Wage:
Starting at $50,000
